JANE ALL SET TO TEE OFF IN  THE VOLVO EWGA REGIONAL MEDAL FINALS!

Congratulations to JANE FORBES for being Belton Woods Ladies' 2011 WINNER OF VOLVO EWGA MEDAL!
In order to achieve this, Jane gained the Belton Woods Ladies' best four medal scores over the EWGA year.

She now  marches on to join the  winning medal players from England's affiliated golf clubs to begin the  competitive journey which could lead to a place in the EWGA 2012 Grand Medal Final.  The Regional Final for our region will be on Thursday 3rd May April at Burton-on-Trent Golf Club, Derbyshire. The 10 best players from each of the regional finals will go forward to the 2012 Grand Medal Final. We wish Jane the very best of luck and we shall be cheering for her all the way!

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Tuesday 21st February 2012

At Belton Woods Hotel, commencing at 7.30 pm

The committee of the Ladies’ Section are hoping that as many ladies as possible will be able to attend the Annual General Meeting.  All playing members shall be eligible to attend and to vote.  The quorum for this meeting shall be twelve.

The removal of the following statement from the Constitution:

Paragraph 3  MANAGEMENT  Sub Paragraph - Officers

“The Officers shall consist of the Captain, a Secretary and a Treasurer.  The Secretary, Treasurer shall retire automatically at the
end of each year and be eligible for re-election at the Annual General Meeting.”

To be replaced with:

“The Officers shall consist of the Captain, a Secretary, a Treasurer and Handicap/Competition Secretary. 
The Secretary, Treasurer and Handicap/Competition Secretary shall retire automatically at the end of each year and be eligible for re-election at the Annual General Meeting.”
